About Fire Apparatus Challenge

What is it?

Fire Apparatus Challenge is an entertaining online competition between fire apparatus in (6) categories. There are no trophies, awards, or ceremonies resulting from participation but there is the "Top 20 Fire Apparatus" bragging rights. We might be able to finagle a sticker or shirt in the future!

The following categories are:

  • Engines vs Engines
  • Rescues vs Rescues
  • Trucks/Ladders vs Trucks/Ladders
  • Ambulances vs Ambulances
  • Brush/Field Pieces vs Brush/Field Pieces
  • Antiques vs Antiques

How it works

  1. Create an account.
  2. Upload your apparatus with as much information as possible.
  3. Once approved, your apparatus will go live for comparison in the category that you placed them in.
  4. When the home page loads, an apparatus category is randomly chosen; followed by two random apparatus in the category.
  5. The two randomly selected apparatus and specs will be displayed for comparison.
  6. When a winner is chosen, the page will reload with another random challenge.
  7. Wins, Losses, and Winning Percentages are calculated automatically for each challenge.
  8. Apparatus with the highest winning percentage will automatically be ranked by category in the "TOP 20 APPARATUS" with their specs.
  9. When logged in, you can use your pump panel to manage your account and your uploaded apparatus.
